Whenever we travel abroad, we make it a point to support Malaysian restaurants whenever we can. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of dining at Malaysian Street Delights in Barcelona — and what made it extra special was being welcomed by Ms. Annie from Melaka, our hometown. After walking over 15,000 steps exploring the city, we were craving a hearty Malaysian meal. I went straight for my comfort food — Penang Char Kuey Teow — while my wife ordered Nasi Lemak Rendang Daging. We also shared a Mango Salad as a starter and ended with Sago Gula Melaka for dessert.
Every dish hit the spot, but the Rendang Daging deserves a special mention. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly spiced, and the rich gravy was so good it could rival my mother-in-law’s cooking (which is saying a lot!). Even that Ming Emperor Envoy fellow from Bon Appetite Your Majesty will give the dish a full 10 marks and return to China humbled yet satisfied 🤣.
Overall, it was a delicious, heartwarming experience that reminded us of home. Wishing Ms. Annie and her team all the success — you’re making us Malaysians proud. Terima kasih and sampai jumpa lagi! 🇲🇾✨

The staff were lovely- very attentive and kind and the food was some of the best Malaysian food I’ve had! It was sooooooooooo delicious and FRESH. We ordered so many dishes between the two of us and thought we might have ordered too much but everything was devoured.
Best of all, this place is also halal, had lots of indoor seating, and serving sizes were very generous. We payed ~49 euros for drinks, apps, and 3 mains. You need to try!!!!- Tipo de comida

First time trying Malaysian food in Barcelona and they didn’t disappoint me! The location was great, the restaurant look lovely and elegant, the taste was right on point. More than that we love the waitress was super friendly and she suggested a good dish for you. We ordered a few starters and 2 main dish for us. My favorite was the taro cake and the juice of the day! Every dish was bursting with delicious flavour! This was some of the best food I’ve eaten in Barcelona. The Sambal rice dish and Laksa were highly recommended by friends and they exceeded expectations. The duck was juicy and tender. We ordered the drink of the day, which was a type of iced tea. Even the drink was perfect, tasty and not too much ice (other places fill your cup with too much ice and then the drink gets watered down) and a great choice to go along with the meal. Super tasty and authentic Malaysian food!! Best in Europe that I’ve had!! Highly recommend the Malaysian specialty drink, Ayam Goreng Kunyit, Satay Ayam, Penang Char Kuey Teow!! and Roti Canai Potato curry. Auntie was really nice and friendly too!

I was missing Asian styled rice and noodle dishes and this place hits the spot!!! Came here twice for dinner. Prices are soooo good for the portion as well. The owners are very nice and the staff members were attentive.

everything here was amazing. perfect location too, and this was as good (maybe even better) than my favorite malaysian restaurant in the US! we got the nasi lemak, laksa, roti chennai with potato, mango salad, and satay. for dessert we got pulut inti and mango sago. definitely get the mango sago!!! service is wonderful and attentive, the people are extremely nice.

Absolutely phenomenal! As a Malaysian travelling to Barcelona (of all places haha), this was as authentic as it gets. I had the Nasi Goreng Sambal and Roti Canai with Potato Curry, both of which were outstanding. Not to forget the Malaysian hospitality - it will never leave you disappointed. Come for a hearty meal, and be sure to leave with a smile and a happy tummy :)

Unbelievably delicious Malaysian food in the heart of Barcelona. The staff is super friendly and helpful too, restaurant beautiful and prices are great too. Would like to keep it to myself but honestly I just have to recommend it.

Omg, if you crave Malaysian food, this is the place to be. The flavor reminds me of home. The rendang beef if tender, the mee goreng was so tasty. They are generous with portions. 2 plates of food is not enough. Makes me want to order more. Highly recommended. 10/10 stars!!

We really missed Malaysian food, and this place truly hits the spot! Our favorite was definitely the Penang Curry Laksa! We shared it with everyone at the table, and they all loved it. The teh tarik was also superb and instantly transported me back home. We also ordered Char Koay Teow and Nasi Goreng, both of which were deliciously authentic!
Halal, portions are generous and fairly priced, making it great value for money. The premises are fairly spacious and can accommodate many diners, but if you’re coming with a big group, it’s best to make a reservation in advance.- Tipo de comida

This place is amazing. The best Malaysian food we have had, and we have eaten Malaysian food in many parts of the world. The Satay Ayum, Penang Kari Laksa, Mee goreng with chicken, Ayum Kam Heong ... Were all amazing. We will definitely visit them again on our 4 day trip in Barcelona.
